Fry Club Colts v Shire Colts – Sunday 5^th October 2008

Match Report Game 1:

Yet another sunny afternoon as we welcomed Shirehampton to Frys. Again we asked the team to control and pass the ball which today showed the dividends of both Lee and I keeping on. Today we created lots of opportunities by the players getting their heads up and having the belief to pass the ball and with Jiggs pushing the team forward from midfield and with attackers Kelsey and Mitch being well supported by Marvin, Ellis, Ollie and Finn. We were combining very well going forward which led to the team getting their rewards with goals from Kelsey 2, Jiggs 2 and Mitch 3. Final score Frys 7 - 0 Shirehampton.

Match Report Game 2:

This game went the same way as the 1st with Frys passing the ball, possibly the best they have done so during my time with the side! Again this was pleasing and although Shire caused us problems going forward we came out on top 6-2 with goals from the persistent Ellis 3, Ollie 1, Marvin 1 and Mitch 1. Final score Frys 6 - 2 Shirehampton. Overall score Frys 13 - 2 Shirehampton.
